I feel for a short story this one had a lot in it. Normally with this length of writing there's not much that happens, at least in the erotic genre which this is in. I've read some erotic stories that are of similar length and normally it's (boiled down to) "hi, let's have sex, ok," then the story ends.Norrgard was able to establish a very real world character in her main character. The set up for bringing James into her life was worked out well, also. I feel this story doesn't need the erotic label thrown on it (aside from a few descriptive words at certain points). It could easily pass as a great story without that.
The way the MC dealt with an issue she couldn't bring herself to handle (won't be more descriptive to avoid a spoiler) wasn't to my liking. But because of this it showed how flawed an individual can be. It took a while for her to learn her mistake and that's life for you. Not everything works out perfectly, especially with romance and strong emotions getting in the way. Take it as a lesson and don't make the mistake in real life. That's the moral of that part of the story.
Overall I was very pleased with this story and savored every line. More from this author will be going onto my wishlist now :)

This is a short look at a relationship of the type that many folk will recognise. Although promoted as Erotica I would not put the level of sex much above that of a normal hot Romance. All the same the emotions are engaged and the sex is part of the story. You could criticize the reality of the heroine's actions but it's a story! It's a good short sexy read when you need a love story fix.
Do you ever reminiscence about that one affair? Is there someone who stays lodged in your heart? This book carries you through the highs and lows of one such affair. It will make you sigh and your eyes fill will tears. Your heart will beat faster as you relate with every hot touch. Check this one out.
I've got to say that i was so looking forward to reading this after reading Jeffery. I wasn't disappointed!!!! Mmmmmm.... a great sexy,erotic story!!!! WooHoo!!!
Honestly, I read this simply because of the title. It's my first name as well. And I'm glad I did. Whoa...steamy, hot and...well...you must read this. Trust me when I say that you'll read this again and again and again, etc. Thank you, Amber Jerome-Norrgard. I REALLY like my name now!
I bought this story after reading "David" by Amber Jerome-Norrgard. I may not sleep from being hooked on her fiction. This story was utter and complete brilliance. In a short piece, the author takes you through the duration of a relationship and its raminfications. I've never quite read anything like it and I'm sure you haven't either!
While I don't normally read a lot of erotica, I got caught up in this short story. Who hasn't fantasized about a co-worker at some point? This may be Amber Jerome-Norrgard's first published story in this genre, but you can't tell from the way she writes it. Every encounter left me blushing and breathless. This sensual tale burns up the pages with an ending I did not see coming.
This erotica short story has been quite a surprise. It is hot, and sexy, but at the same time it has a poetic tone in the musings of the female protagonist. The plot is deep, and it makes you think about relationships and about how we handle certain things. You get to feel the same feelings as the protagonist. You feel both exhilarated and sad. A very good story and a highly recommendable one.
